Dr. Funmi brings over three decades of global upstream leadership to every engagement a career built across Shell Nigeria, Shell Houston, and PDO Oman, spanning exploration, reservoir development, and portfolio strategy in nine basins across four continents.

What sets that experience apart is not just its length, but its range: deep technical fluency in subsurface science, paired with the governance instincts of someone who has sat on the leadership side of major capital decisions. Nessted Energy Consulting exists to bring both halves of that experience technical and governance — into the same room, for clients who have historically had to choose one or the other.
