In a high-pressure carbonate play within a salt-bounded basin, the client faced operational uncertainty due to overpressure risks and poor seismic imaging. We were tasked to lead exploration assurance and risk management.
Our Approach
We developed a pressure prediction model integrating regional geological data, seismic velocity models, and well calibration to mitigate drilling risks. A focus was placed on maintaining well integrity, optimizing drilling design, and improving data reliability through rigorous QA/QC protocols.
